There's a local Italian Deli serving a wide array of sandwiches that are served on fresh baked bread, and right next door, a European-style bakery that also serves gelato. On the same street, you can find great locally-owned restaurants like Charlo's, Stella Bleu, and Fratelli's, and just around the corner, Wittenberg alumni own and operate a great micro-brewery called Mother Stewart's. Downtown Springfield has never had so much to offer!

Also on Fountain Avenue, COHatch is located in one of America鈥檚 largest and oldest public markets, the former Myer鈥檚 Market building. COhatch offers a range of fast casual eating and drinking options, from wood-fired pizzas to sweet and savory waffles to authentic southwestern style foods and terrific sushi. There's something to suit everyone's taste buds available here!

Need a coffee fix or great place to study and meet? Support our local, in-walking-distance coffee houses. Get some 奥颈苍补苍鈥檚 chocolates or an Un Mundo panini to supplement your caffeine jolt. And, of course, we have a Starbucks in town (in addition to on campus in Post 95).

Keep track of how many times you hit up this wonderful street. It鈥檚 got all the grocery stores (Meijer, Walmart, Kroger), restaurants (Panera, Chipotle, Skyline Chili, Chick-Fil-A, Raising Cane's, Five Guys, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.), and other stores (PetSmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, Best Buy, Kohl's, Marshalls, etc.) that a college student could ask for.
