Will Mattox earned a B.S. in economics from Vanderbilt University, B.M. in vocal performance at Wittenberg, and an M.M. in vocal performance at Texas Christian University. His recent operatic roles include Melchior in Menotti鈥檚 Amahl and the Night Visitors, Amida in Cavalli鈥檚 尝鈥橭谤尘颈苍诲辞, Dr. Falke in Strauss鈥檚 Die Fledermaus, Papageno in Mozart鈥檚 Die Zauberfl枚te, and Morales in Bizet鈥檚 Carmen. His recent recital performances have included Schubert鈥檚 Schwanengesang and song cycles Die sch枚ne M眉llerin and Winterreise. Will has performed with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, Choral Arts of Springfield, Dayton Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Regal Opera (Texas), and Tarrant Opera Project (Texas). He is a staff member of the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS), a summer program for singers in Graz, Austria.

Mr. Mattox is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda (an honorary music society) and a member of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra鈥檚 board of trustees. He joined the Wittenberg faculty in fall 2013.
